Kevin Vondy took the lead from the start and
built up a big lead. Dave Netwon, Robbie Lambie
& Murray Lambden took up the chase. By this
point Lambden had moved to second and took the lead
on the third lap only to be passed at the same point
as this picture by Lambie on the final lap. Vondy
finished third, Parish Walk hero Robbie Callister
fourth, Peter Hughes fifth, Dave Newton 6thand Paul
Curphey seventh.
Winning times: Lambie 5.04.2, Lambden 5.05.1,
Vondy 5.06.2.
Mike Gellion very kindly sent the results
to me within a in couple of hours of the race. Unfortunately
they were in a file format I couldn't open - the
full result will be published this evening.
