THE STEVE JACOBS MEMORIAL MILE

If you have ever wondered how fast you can run a mile here is your chance to find out………………..

The 7th running of the Steve Jacobs Mile will take place at the NSC on Wednesday 11th June starting at 7 pm. Anyone aged 15 years or over, at 1st September, is welcome to enter regardless of ability.

All runners will have to run just over four laps of the track. However, the slowest runners start first with the last runners off expected to give over a laps head start. This should give everyone an equal chance of being first over the finish line. Finishing times will be available on the night.

A large number of athletes of all abilities are expected and they will also be joined, as usual, by a number of Steve’s former judo friends.

Entry is just £2 and this money goes into a fund to help up and coming athletes. Please enter at 6.30 pm on the night or contact Chris Quine on 670521 if you need further information beforehand.
