and the runners and riders were: number 90, Gail Musson and number 102, John Crellin. Two people who have competed in athletics who rode in this yesterday’s Steam Packet races at Billown. John is best known (these days) for his attempts to climb Mount Everest but has been competed in athletics for many years while Gail has been running in the Dave Phillips Memorial Road Raceswhich resume on Tuesday evening in Peel.
