ORGANISED BY WESTERN AC

With more women than ever before running around the streets and country lanes of the Isle of Man, there is surely scope for more of them to join the fun of racing, especially when the new and improving runner and joggers stand the best chance of winning the series due to the handicapping.

The pictures below show just a few of the ladies of all ages and abilities who took part in the final event in 2002.

Thanks to Rosie Morrison for confirming the dates.  The full rules and details of the brand new new safer course will be published on the website in the next few days. Meanwhile if you ran in this series last year and can provide a friendly contact for someone thinking of running for the first time but a little shy, please leave your contact details on the forum. By the way, men are also welcome to compete!

and the spoils of victory!
