comply with FRA race rules all competitors must carry a waterproof jacket and a
whistle.
The organisers reserve the right to alter the
course in any way they see fit.
Minimum age is 18 years on day
of race.
Check in at the Glen Maye
Village Hall gr. 237-798. The race will finish here.
Transport will be arranged to
the start at the Creggan Moar Road, Dalby gr. 220-779
Route
description
Follow minor road for ½ mile
to Creggan Moar.
Ascend rough lane known as the
Slabs.
Turn right at top gr. 225-763
into Eary Cushlin.
Follow track past house, and
down to ruins of Keeil, descend to beach checkpoint
(1) gr. 215-745.
Ascend northerly to summit of
Cronk Ny Ire Laa checkpoint (2) gr. 223-746.
Follow path to Round Table
Road and keeping on fells head for South Barrule (running on the road is not
allowed). Contour round the south side of South Barrule following plantation
fence to checkpoint (3) gr. 255-753.
Ascend to the summit of South
Barrule checkpoint (4) 257-759.
Descend southerly on main path
veering off right near the bottom and head for South Barrule X roads checkpoint (5) gr.247-760. Turn right,
cross road then left on to rough track
Follow track eventually coming out on to Glen Maye Road. Left following
road back to the finish at Glen Maye Village Hall.
