RAMSEY PARK RUNS – PICTURES BY STAN HALL Graham Stigant was one of several triathletes who swam in the Mooragh Park before running in the race. With his wet suit on he was probably drier than in the run. Andy Bell (in black) easily saw off the attention of the others on his handicap mark. Andy was thought to be the second fastest in around 22.48 while Nick Percival was just over 22 minutes. Bernie Cannan (in blue), Murray Lambden (yellow) and Kevin Vondy (background) were the group who started with Andy. Nicola Sherrant was a clear winner of the handicap event after recovering well from the Northern 10. Jordan Cain, fresh from his 1500 metres win the young athletes league, provides a bit of coaching advice for his dad Phil. (I’m just ensuring that Nipper gets a bit more stick at work on Saturday morning!) Robbie Lambden looks happy near the top of the hill. Christine Barwell leads the ladies up the hill on Friday night. Alan Bagley leads Graham Stigant. Alan took a nasty tumble on the final lap while Graham had prepared with a swim in the lake. Did Graham cycle home afterwards to complete his triathlon?
Martin Bell and Dave Corrin – two remarkable runners for their ages.
