Summer Track Walks 2007

The Summer Track Walks are a series of 3 events scheduled for Thursday evenings at the NSC track. Sign on track side at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Senior and junior walkers of all abilities will be made most welcome and you can choose the distance you wish to race

Thursday 12^th July (5k,3k,1k )

Thursday 23^rd August ( 5k,3k,1k )

Thursday 6^thSeptember ( 2 miles, 1 mile,half mile )

You must pay for track use at the outdoor office (unless you are a N.S.C track member in which case there is no charge) . Further details contact Bridget on 852884 or email here

Thursday 12th July

Birthday Boy Peter Kaneen (96) completed 5000m in 23.17.2. He is pictured alongside newcomer to the track Andy Green (92) who showed good novice racewalking technique to record an impressive 18.18.4 over 3000m.

Alexandra Ross (99) & Sinead Kaneen (94) recorded 5.15.3 & 5.20.1 respectively over 1K distance. Allan Callow (79) completed 3K in 16.44.3
