John's only scare was a potential re-appearance of the egg & chips he consumed pre race after hungry work helping out with marking the course. Right; A terrific battle for runner-up spot between Gianni Epifani (183) & Ed Gumbley (32) ended with both runners recording equal times & Gianni being credited with 2nd place.
