Raining Champion; Another win for Peter Kaneen in treacherous conditions in a time of 1:20:09
Teaming up and teeming down at the finish: For the second year running Sean Hands was sunk by a bouyant Michael George after a titanic race long battle. Michael recorded a personal best over the course in 1:25:18 just 7 seconds ahead of Sean Hands.
Making a splash; Jock Waddington (left) finished an impressive 4th in 1:28:39 ahead of the remarkable Andy Green, a newcomer to racewalking this year and winner of the novice walk in October. Chris Cale finished in 6th just 16 seconds behind him in a time of 1: 31:47
