Mike Garrett of Manx Harriers (centre) won the Isle of Man Bank sponsored Peel to Douglas Run on Sunday in a personal best time of 57m 32s. Western AC’s Ben Scott (left) was just under a minute behind in second place. Murray Lambden (right) finished an excellent third, just 7 days after completing the London Marathon.

First lady Samantha Cowen (also a London Marathon finisher) finished 17th overall in a time of 1hr 11m 18s retaining the Brian Goldsmith Memorial Trophy (PJ)
Micky Swindale of Manx Tri Club finished 2nd Lady in 1hr 15m 22s
Third lady for the second year running was Sally Walker (36). First in the queue at registration was no. 1 Les Brown
