Alex Eaton of Manx Harriers (left), winner of the 20Km Walk in a time of 1hr 39m 38s, just over 5 minutes clear of Jock Waddington of IOMVAC who finished second in 1hr 45m 4s. Adam Cowin of Manx Harriers was a fine third in 1hr 46m 45s. Manx Harriers was well represented in the 20km event with Dale Farquahar 6th in a time of 1hr 50m 56s and Dave Walker 7th two minutes behind. In the10Km walk it was the turn of the Manx Harriers ladies to shine. Marie Jackson was 1st lady and 4th overall in 58m 26sec just 4 seconds clear of clubmate Sally Walker with Jeannete Morgan of IOMVAC a close 3rd in 58m 49s with the latter two ladies recording big PB’s.There were fine performances from Manx Harriers Junior ladies Danielle Oates and Rebecca Greatbatch. Danielle finished under the hour in 59m 16s with a big PB for Rebecca in a breakthrough performance recording 61m 39s. The race was won by Clonmels Evan Lynch by a massive 9 minute margin in 45m 33s (photo PJ)

Manx Harriers Juniors Tom Brennan and Hannah Halsall finished 1st and 2nd respectively in the opening event of the day, the 1km walk. Tom finished in a time of 6min 53sec, with Hannah close behind in 7min 8sec. In the 2km walk the impressive Archie Walters finished 3rd in a time of 12min 40sec behind winner Kara Lane of Birchfield Harriers and 2nd placed Lucy Lewis Ward of Cambridge Harriers. Leah Goddard of Northern AC was 4th in a time of 12min 53sec. Anna Garcia from City of Sheffield won the 3km event in a time of 14min 15sec ahead of Chris Snook of Aldershot and Niamh O’Connor of Celbridge. In the 5Km event, Tom Partington continues to make great strides in his racewalking development with 4th place in a time of exactly 25mins. The race was won by Aaron Egan of Clonmel in 23min 35sec ahead of Luc Legon of Bexley in 2nd and Anthony Tobin also of Clonmel in 3rd.
