All eyes on Martin. Martin Aram broke the Manx high jump record at Sheffield on Sunday. What a great time to hit peak form just a few weeks before the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. In the last Commonwealth Games (Manchester 2002) he made Manx history by making the final. This picture was from the smaller Manchester stadium alongside the City of Manchester Stadium two years later during the Olympic trials (ML).  Thanks to Andrew Cowley for reporting the performance.

John Cannell is an independent site designed, edited and funded by Murray Lambden.

The site was updated daily for three and a half years until June 2004 when the webeditor took a sabbatical.
