NAME THE YEAR AND THE ATHLETES? REMEMBER THE ORIGINAL CLUBHOUSE?

The above selection of pictures is from Steve Partington who said: "I had it in my head that it was 1991 – but I have realised that that was the year we went to St Johns – as the NSC construction was under way. I seem to recall that 1990 was (very) wet and so it must be before then. The best clue will be the run results. The tall runner in the white vest with the blue hoops was called Simon ??? and he was over here working at the Marine Station at Port Erin for a while. He did a bit of training with Brenda Walker I think. I suppose that I could just look at your MA database and probably work it out."  

I’ve tried but I am baffled too. Perhaps it was a 10km championship race rather than a Manx Airlines meeting? Perhaps there was a supporting event that I haven’t recorded as the feature runs were all endurance runs prior to the building of the NSC.  Its little help that Alan Pilling is featured because he seems to have done every race in the past 30 years!! I’ve had no feedback from anyone yet, but does anyone agree that  the fourth picture maybe from a different meeting than the other three?
