Lisa Kehler (pictured at last year's meeting) is among the entrants for the HSBC Securities Services Manx Harriers Open on Saturday. The Wolverhampton & Bilston athlete first competed (as Lisa Langford) at the National Sports Centre (then the King George V Park) in the 1983 English Schools Walks. She is listed on the www.gbrathletics.com site as the British record holder at 5km, 10km and 1 hour on the track and 5 miles, 10km, 12km, 15km and 20km on the roads although she lost the latter record to Joanna Jackson last weekend.
Lisa is a GP who has resorts to training in the early hours of the morning to fit in her family and part time job.
