Peter Kaneen is pictured above receiving the Madigan trophy from Michael Madigan, brother of the late Kevin.  The award recognised the second fastest ever time in the Parish Walk last June.  His performance on 28 February 2004, when the award was presented and when he won the 50km walk, was the fastest by a British walker this year.
