MORE FROM THE JUDITH PERRIAM SPORTSHALL MEETING

Comments and pictures by Louise Kneen

I think we did Judith proud as the event was a complete success and I  would like to pass on many congratulations to Northern A. C. the  winners on the day and also thanks to the helpers for their work.

Every child received a T-shirt as a momento of the day which were  kindly sponsored by G J Ingham and Sons (Builders).

Anyone who was there will tell you how much the children enjoyed the  competition as well as the spectators who cheered on the children all  afternoon.

The competition is the result of the commitment by Western A. C. to  junior athletics on the Island with the investment in the sportshall  equipment being vindicated as 95% of the equipment used on the day was  the (very expensive) property of W.A.C.

So here’s to an equally successful competition next year.
