Karrissa Hawitt (above) was in devastating form again in this afternoon’s Peel Hill Race. She won by 1 minute and 27 seconds from Tess Walker of Manchester University – Alehouse.

Local runner Diane Lawrence made an ambitious start and was second at this point. She hung on for 6th place.

Tanya Taylor (30) of Stamford Harriers  finished 3rd. Second place Tess Walker is behind her at this stage.

Jean Shotter of Holmfirth has been the dominant over 40 female runner of the weekend.  She was 5th in the road race and 4th today in the hill race.

Lee Hurst was almost as dominant in the men’s race and has already gone past at this point. Unlike Friday night, he shot to the front early on.

Tim Crossland (number 2 pictured above) was second at this point with Altrincham (yellow vests) packing well again. But on the descent Owen Green gained revenge for last night and overtook Hurst to grab second by one second.
