The third in a series of pictures of Colin Watterson (Les Corkill).

Education minister David Anderson (back row) joins Colin and his other 4 x 100 metres partners, Neil Taylor and Steve Higgins.

The fourth in a series of pictures of Colin Watterson (Les Corkill).

The fifth in a series of pictures of Colin Watterson - Colin the indoor runner.

The sixth in a series of pictures of Colin Watterson - Colin at the Manx Games.

The seventh and penultimate in a series of pictures of Colin Watterson - Colin also enjoyed running through rivers!

The publication of the final picture from the series of oldies featuring Colin Watterson is timed to coincide with Manx Harriers trip to the Lancs Cross Country at Blackburn. This picture (which was a very large one and had to be scanned as two - hence the join!) was of Colin using his trademark high jump style on the track at Blackburn at Witton Park in Blackburn. The cross country course passes the track and shares the same changing rooms etc.

Ever wondered what happened to all the old features at www.manxathletics.com when, prior to June 2004, it was updated daily? Well, most of them, including the old news pages,  are still available (use the Google search below) but, if you would like a diversion, here are a couple of links to many of the features.

FEATURES PRIOR TO 2003

manxathletics.com is an independent site designed, edited and funded by Murray Lambden.

The site was updated daily for three and a half years until June 2004 when the webeditor took a sabbatical. It now serves as a portal for Manx athletes with special features on a few events and ad hoc publishing when time permits without giving in to the addiction! Old features can be found by using the Google search below.

manxharriers.com which is edited by Paul Jackson, is the highly recommended sister site of manxathletics.com
