MORE PICTURES FROM THE MANX GAS CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE BY IRENE GEORGE Alan Corkill, who found the one lap race a bit too short, pictured with Keith Lowe, who ran the full 4 laps. Simon Callister recorded a fast time in the one lapper. Former Commonwealth Games sprinter (1970) Brian Cowley leads fell running statistician Ian Callister. Andy Cannell first appeared in the Northern 10 last May and is now making quite a name for himself. There have been all too few Western AC vests in the cross country leagues in recent years so a big welcome to Mark Redmayne. He recently advocated the return of a team competition in the league (see forum). Gareth Watt was one of 32 runners who signed on for the league for the first time at the second leg stage.
