Welbeck Hotel proprietor, Michael George, is improving with every race this winter after not running over the country for more than 20 years.  In this picture, by Peter Kaneen, he is leading under 17s winner Aaron Whipp and Keith Lowe, who just pipped Mike.  In the background is a very tired running Keiron Murray who competed in the Reebok Challenge in Liverpool the previous day.

and finally one of Stan Hall’s collection (welcome back Stan after two weekends off the Island). He has a good shot of Lee Butterworth leading the under 15s. Tucked in behind is the eventual winner Ben Brand who took revenge on Lee for the previous weeks results on Peel Hill.  Hidden (blue top) is Ryan Fairclough who also passed Lee while 4th placed Neil Cowley is in hot pursuit.

THE ANDY SHOW

Andy Cannell is improving with every race and he took third in the Manx Gas League on Sunday.

Andy Watson was also in the top six with a similar level of improvement.

The two Andys lowered the average age of the top six – dramatically!
