RESULTS AND PICTURES BY THE INCREDIBLY
HARD WORKING PAUL JACKSON
|

Two
of the sponsors ran in today’s Edgewater Direct Boundary Stroll,
Ian Morrow and Steve Locking. Ian (above) had a cracking run
finishing in 5th place. In this picture, he is in third place.
It was hot enough in a vest today so he must have been scorching
in his long sleeve shirt.

Peter
Kaneen won the walk this year but defending champion Marie Latham
beat all but two of the men.

winner Nick Percival (left) with Edgewater Direct director Steve
Locking.

Bridget
Kaneen (above) cycled in the End to End race last Sunday, ran
in the Ian Ronan Joiners Creg Ny Baa Fell Race on Saturday (Stan
Hall pictured her above) and on Sunday, together with Liz Corran,
she helped provide a buffet and hundreds of cups of tea to the
runners and walkers in the Boundary Stroll. Its easy to forget
that she’s a top class race walker but she’s had little time
for that in the past few days.

Meanwhile
Bridget’s husband Peter clutches the Edgewater Direct Boundary
Stroll trophy after his massive 20 minute victory. Left to right:

Locking and runner up Allan Callow. (Picture by Murray

Lorraine
Stigant leads Jason Cochrane and Michael Crook one mile into
the Boundary Stroll. They stayed in that order over the 25km.

Moira
Hall and Lorraine Stigant were the prize winners in the women’s
run. They are pictured with Edgewater’s Steve Locking who completed
the 25km run himself and has confirmed his company’s sponsorship
of the Boundary Stroll until 2005.
