With the Manx team departing for the Commonwealth Games team, I thought it was a good time to publish a photo from the 1974 Commonwealth Games that team member Dave Cowell sent to me over a year ago. Each team raises their flag in a small ceremony soon after arrival to mark their presence in the team village and the Manx team has always attached a lot of importance to being one of the first to do so.
