Manx Harriers Open Meeting

Murray Lambden captures the combined start of the 3Km, 5Km, 10Km & 20Km walks at the HSBC Securities Services sponsored Manx Open on Saturday 6th March held in perfect conditions on the new super-smooth perimeter roadway at the NSC. The contingent of visiting Irish athletes outnumbered local walkers who were poor to support the event in the senior age group races. Nevertheless there were some great performances across the junior and senior events by Irish and Manx walkers, and a memorable day's action concluded with some top class running action in the 10Km.

Lancashire Track & Field Championships Manx Harriers are once again organising a trip to the Lancashire Track & Field Championships in Blackpool on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th May 2010 Entry forms and details of the trip can be obtained form Di Shimell, 3 Marlborough Terrace, Douglas. 623582  after 8.00pm also 450488 and dishimell@manx.net This year it will involve boat travel and  2 nights off island.
