Steve Partington (62) won the Empire Garage Peel to Douglas walk for the 13th in a time of 1:20.55. Michael George (27) recorded a big personal best time to finish second in 1:21.47. Parish Walk champ Jock Waddington (33) finished 3rd in 1:26.52

Judith Quane was the surprise winner of the ladies race finishing 12th overall in 1:40.18

A welcome visitor to the Isle of Man was Peter Ryan of Ilford AC who finished a fine 5th in 1:28.55

Second lady finisher was Bernie Ball (39) after a race long battle with Terri Salmon (59 below) who claimed the third lady prize finishing just 3 seconds behind. Tony Dugdale (centre) won the 3rd Novice Man prize.

Jared Smith (8) won the Brian Goldsmith Memorial trophy for 1st Novice Man. The magnificent new trophy was presented by Brian's widow Sandie. Also pictured are 3rd lady finisher Terri Salmon and ex-Commonwealth Games walker Robbie Lambie of Western AC (48)

Jane Foster (26) won the 1st Novice Lady prize. She is pictured at St Johns ahead of Paul Kermeen. Kelly Rogerson and Janette Morgan won 2nd & 3rd Novice Lady prizes respectively.
