Harriet Pryke and Michael Haslett competed at the BUCS outdoors championship this weekend in Bedford. Harriet, competing for Brunel University, won her heat of the 400m on Saturday in a new PB of 58.22.  In the semis on Sunday, she finished 4th in her heat in a time of 58.71, qualifying for the final on Monday, where, running in lane one, she finished 6th in a new PB of 57.9 Michael, recovering from recent illness, was competing for UWIC in the 400mH.  He finished 3rd in his heat on Saturday in a time of 57.45.  This earned him a place in the semis on Sunday, where he finished 4th in his heat in a time of 56.67.
