Entries for the Clerical Medical Parish Walk have now closed at the second highest level ever. There are 1530 names on the list but there are a few more to be added - people who entered on time but encountered a techincal difficulty. No late entries will be accepted. Entries for the 2010 Clerical Medical Parish Walk will open on 1 December 2009.  Go to parishwalk.com for a full list of entrants and much more.

The organisers (thanks to Winston Liu) have announced new traffic controls for the busy Rushen Church area.  No traffic will be allowed to approach Ballakillowey roundabout from Ballagawne Road, Old School Road or Sloc (except for residents from nearby housing estate). Traffic will not be allowed to stop at church. Traffic coming out of car park will have to divert left and do loop to reach Ballakillowey roundabout via Ballachurry Road. Therefore 90% + of traffic will be turning left at Ballachurry Road up the Sloc.
