It is extremely sad to find written confirmation in the Manx Indepedent that Mark Freeman has lost his life at the age of just 50.  He is pictured on his way home from the London Marathon in 2003 which he completed in 4:27:28 raising funds for Manx Diabetics & Osteoporosis. He took part in the Parish Walk for 11 consecutive years and finished the whole 85 miles in 2004 and 2007.
