The road ahead is the scene of the marathon on August...
Its six months and a week until the Salclear Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon and you can now enter at iomvac.co.uk This is one of the biggest events on the local calendar so lots of helpers will also be required. Put 8 August in your diaries now.
The race is on to find a marathon as friendly or with better scenery.
Walkers are welcome to join the runners in the half marathon - just don't expect the normal crowd of spectators! Photos by Murray
