Kevin Loundes won the opening round of the Manx Gas Challenge beating Lloyd Taggart by 31 seconds
Steve Partington captured the large field on the start line and a good part of it just after commencement. Winner Kevin Loundes was already in the lead (centre of the photo with yellow and back shoes).

Stan Hall was captured much of the action. Tom Richmond, who finished second in the short course event is seen clearing one of the four river crossings per lap.
