Summer If you like what you have seen of the Isle of Man at Easter then one of the events that it is worth returning for, and hundreds do, is the Salclear Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon in August.  Details at marathon.iomvac.co.uk Autumn The Isle of Man achieves what no other place in the British Isles does and makes a walking event one of the biggest sporting  dates of the year. The Scottish Widows Parish Walk is expected to attract around 2,000 competitors to its 85 mile course this year but three months later there is another big walk.
