Chris also did three other 30km times in less than 2 hours and 12 minutes. (1) April '85 2.11.43 2nd Commonwealth Trial, Edinburgh; (2) 1st 2.11.38 Sept '89
Comonwealth Trial, Roundhay Park; (3) Dec 30 89 Open Club track 2.11.54 just a few days prior to going off to Austrailia and onto New Zealand.

Chris was best known for his final Olympic walk in 2000 even though it was his slowest by far.
