The Spring Handicap meeting is the second to be organised by the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes Club at the National Sports Centre within the past two weeks. Tony Okell (above - pictured on this site for the third time in as many weeks!) was the winner of the previous one, the Leinster Management 20 Miles. There were no photos available at the time but this one is by Mike Wade of Isle of Man Newspapers which featured four separate athletics events in the Manx Indepedent last week and has reports of the Ellan Vannin Fell Race today. Unfortunately I wasn't able to source a photo of Nikki Boyde who won the women's section of the 20 miles as hers was the fastest in the 20 miles since the event became an open event at the National Sports Centre in 1993.
