HILL RACES PICTURES BY STAN HALL & MURRAY LAMBDEN Andy Norman leads the field up the hill with Peel harbour in the background (SH)
On the return to top on the southern side of the hill, Norman only has Paul Green for company. (ML)
and on the descent he is completely on his own as he takes his second victory of the weekend (SH)
as does Jayne Knowles in the women's event. (ML)
Gianni Epifani was the top Manx runner (SH)
Francis Boal of Ballydrain Harriers is an avid reader of the Manx newspapers - he subscribes from Northern Ireland! (ML)
Blanking out the great Manx scenery was Dave Hulse (ML)
